Consultation Policy
All consultations will be contracted and signed off with stipulated terms and timelines relevant to the requirements of the work before commencement.
Dean can arrange a standard contract if this is convenient.
Booking and Payment
All payments will be staged.
Payment for shorter consultations will be halved – with 50% payment upon commencement and 50% upon completion. 30-day terms will apply for the final payment.
Longer and more complex consultations will be divided further with part payments after key stage deliverables as agreed between Dean and the client.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
If a consultation is cancelled all payments for any completed or current stages are non-refundable.
All rescheduling is to be negotiated between Dean and the client.

Educational Engagement Policy
Public Speaking, Masterclasses and Workshops
Booking and Payment
All fees are to be paid by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) at 30-day terms. After the completion of the engagement, Dean will issue an invoice for service.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
Educational engagement Fee/Deposit is non-refundable. If cancellations are made more than two weeks in advance. In that case, the deposit can be transferred to a different future session as negotiated between Dean and the client.
Educational engagement Fee/Deposit is only transferrable for one time.
Mentoring Policy
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for face-to-face meetings.
Please log in 1-2 minutes early for online meetings.
Students who are late for their session will receive the remainder of their session time, and time will not be made up.
If the student forgets a session, it will not be made-up.
If for some reason, Dean is sick or has to cancel a session, he will reschedule to the next suitable time for both parties.
Booking and Payment
All fees are to be paid by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) at the time of booking. If this is not possible, Dean requests fees are paid a minimum of 48 hours before your session.
For those booking a 4-block of sessions, you must pay the full lump sum before your first session, and not pay as you go. If this happens, Dean will have to charge you the rate for single sessions.
If money is an issue, please let him know, and he can arrange a pre-paid plan with you.
Block Sessions
Please note that when purchasing:
4-block of lessons, it is valid for three months from the time of your first lesson.
Dean values your time, his time and the services that he provides you. For his business to operate and thrive, he must strictly enforce his cancellation policy.
All scheduled lessons are forfeited with no refund if not used within the time frames or cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled session.
When cancelling or rescheduling a session, he asks that you provide as much notice as possible. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Otherwise, the session will be forfeited and full payment due.
ART (MUSIC • RESEARCH • WRITING)
Art Policy
All music composition, research and writing commissions will be contracted and signed off with stipulated terms and timelines relevant to the requirements of the work before commencement.
Dean can arrange a standard contract if this is more convenient.
Booking and Payment
Payment for shorter commissions will be upon submission of the work.
Payment for longer and more complex commissions will be by negotiation.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
If a commission is cancelled all payments for any completed or current stages are non-refundable.
All rescheduling is to be negotiated between Dean and the client.
